Great service, Great experience

We are fortunate that we live in the Bay of Islands so our trip conveniently started at ‘home base’ of Bay of Islands Campervans. Our intention was to visit the lower South Island areas, such as: Oamaru, Dunedin, Invercargill, Mt Cook, etc., places we haven’t been to. Rob and Niek gave us plenty of tips, such as where to freedom park and interesting places to visit and things to see and do. We had one of the Mitsubishi Explorers; driving was a breeze and parking was no problem. I must say we were impressed with the warmth inside, even when we were near the snow! Our bed was surprisingly large and having the shower/toilet available meant we didn’t have to fuss too much with overnight parking (there are plenty of safe places to park-Rob and Niek will tell you where). In saying that, we were more than happy to stay on Camper Grounds and they always supplied friendly greetings and well maintained facilities. Back to the campervan…The kitchen is well equipped and we were even supplied with tea, coffee and sugar as well as pepper, salt, etc. A great service and a great experience and our two weeks just wasn’t long enough. Looking forward to more trips away with Bay of Islands Campervans.
