Thats what I call service
Hired one of their Nexxus motorhomes for just over three weeks in November/December 2014.
The customer service we received was second to none, right from the early days when we were planning out trip. Any e mails and enquiries were always answered promptly with the relevant information, no enquiry seemed to much trouble.
On route we ‘lost’ the water filler cap but replaced it with a temporary one, informed Nick and Rob by e mail to be told no problem and that we would be reimbursed at the end. No dithering just solid customer service.
We had a rear tyre blow out not normally a great issue but the motorhome does not have a spare only a get you home kit. No problem, via the AA, we got a replacement tyre. Nick and Rob didn’t leave it at that, they arranged for us to visit a tyre depot at our convenience, all costs covered, and had both rear tyres changed. Thats what i call service. This also shows their attitude to maintaining their fleet, something you only get with a smaller company.
The Nexxus motorhome was ideal for the two of us and served us well. It came spotlessly clean and well equipped, there was nothing we needed to add. Bay of Islands are not the cheapest but having seen what some of the competition were offering I believe we had excellent value for money. If comparing prices look closely as to what is actually included, Bay of Islands includes most things which mean you can relax and enjoy your hoilday.
We felt like we were treated more as ‘one of the family’ than a customer, praise indeed.
