Campervan or Motorhome?

Campervan or MotorhomeWhile we often use the term ‘campervan hire’, it’s important to note that we actually offer top-of-the-line motorhomes for rent.

What is the difference between a campervan or motorhome? Well, motorhomes are generally larger and more comfortable, with factory purpose-built designs that offer more amenities than converted camper vans.

In fact, in the United States, motorhomes are typically referred to as “recreational vehicles” or RV’s, which gives you a sense of just how luxurious they can be.
And our motorhomes are no exception – we offer two models, the compact Explorer and the more spacious Seeker, both designed and built in Europe with permanent double beds and all the modern conveniences you could want.

Self-contained campervans or motorhomes:

If you’re planning a trip to New Zealand and want to fully immerse yourself in its spectacular landscapes, renting a campervan or motorhome is definitely the way to go.

With our top-of-the-line motorhomes, you’ll be able to experience all the country has to offer, while enjoying the comfort and convenience of a self-contained living space on wheels. You’ll have the freedom to camp in some of the most secluded and beautiful spots in the world!

Just imagine waking up to breathtaking views of New Zealand’s majestic mountains and crystal-clear lakes without worrying about connecting to mains power or starting up your vehicle.

With batteries that last up to two or three days, you’ll have all the time you need to explore the natural beauty of this incredible destination. And rest easy knowing that you’re doing your part to protect the environment by following responsible camping practices.

Semi-integrated motorhomes:

Semi-integrated motorhomes have been an increasingly popular choice to rent. While some of these motorhomes are made locally, the majority have been imported from Europe, where they have gained a strong reputation for their superior design.

One of the different features of a semi-integrated is that the driver’s cab is retained, while the habitation unit begins just behind it. The result is a streamlined vehicle that is not only sleek and modern in appearance, but also boasts added fuel efficiency over the cab over body type.

What makes a good motorhome?

We believe a top-notch motorhome should provide all you need to travel in comfort. Bottled gas (LPG/Propane) for hot water, hot-air heating, a fridge, an oven, and cooker, means you can use the appliances at any time. By swivelling the front seats, they become part of the dining-living- area and provide comfortable seating.

When it comes to sleeping arrangements, we understand that having a cosy and comfortable bed is vital to your night’s rest. That’s why we have a specially designed slatted base and high-quality mattress for our guests to enjoy. Plus, with the permanent double bed, you won’t have to worry about the hassle of setting up a (uncomfortable) bed every night. By day, the living space is clear from pillows or a duvet, all stays in place!

New Zealand’s weather can change suddenly, and we understand the importance of being prepared. That is why our semi-integrated cab allows you to walk over to the living area without getting wet or blown over.

With the increasing need to stay connected, we offer an affordable WIFI package to ensure that you are always connected to the things that matter most. Our Value Pack includes data as well, or you can add it to one of the most affordable data packages available for campervan hire!
